Nathan Riley, MD, FACOG is a board-certified OBGYN, bringing his additional training in functional medicine, lifestyle medicine, anthroposophical medicine, exercise and nutrition science, and other modalities into his holistic care of women and families. Nathan is married to his high school sweetheart, and he is the father of two little girls, the second of whom was born at happily at home. Nathan is constantly pushing the boundaries of "what's possible", guided by both his curiosity and intuition in order to welcome in the birth of a new era and a new world. Nathan considers a connection to nature and accountability for lifestyle choices (when possible and reasonable) as the primary means for optimizing childbirth, and he brings his experience and expertise into the Born Free Method.

Through his private practice, Beloved Holistics, he supports midwives in 23 states, he is frequently invited onto podcasts and to speak at conferences, and he hosts conferences to train birthworkers on the naunces of vaginal breech and twins births.

Nathan holds a second board certification in hospice and palliative medicine, and has been privileged to sit with death and birth throughout his career, giving him the unique super subspecialty around peri-viable birth and perinatal loss.
